This scenic 4.8m trail winds its way along the banks of the mighty Skagit River, providing stunning views and a unique opportunity to connect with nature. The first half of the trail is a delight for outdoor enthusiasts, with ample opportunities to spot wildlife and take in the picturesque surroundings. Keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles soaring overhead or deer gracefully grazing in the nearby meadows. The trail's well-marked signage and occasional benches make it an ideal destination for hikers of all skill levels. However, as you progress further along the trail, perhaps half way in, you'll encounter a section that has become overgrown and eroded due to the natural forces of the river.
