Situated approximately 2.25 miles from the southern trailhead of the Baker Lake Trail, Anderson Point is a true gem that showcases the rugged grandeur of the North Cascades and the serene expanse of Baker Lake. The journey to this picturesque spot is a cooler forest stroll, framed by towering peaks that beckon hikers to explore further.

Upon reaching Anderson Point, hikers are rewarded with panoramic views that are nothing short of awe-inspiring. The crystal-clear waters of Baker Lake shimmer in shades of blue, reflecting the majestic snow-capped peaks that surround it. The dense evergreen forests that cloak the mountains create a striking contrast against the lake's tranquil surface, creating a scene that seems straight out of a painting.

To access the southern trailhead for the Baker Lake Trail and Anderson Point, take Highway 20 and turn north on Baker Lake Road. After 14 miles, turn right on Baker Dam Road, cross the dam, and turn left on Forest Road 1107. The approximately mile long road has a few potholes.

For those planning a visit to Anderson Point, it's worth noting that the southern trailhead offers a restroom facility, making it a convenient starting point for your adventure.
